2 cups chickpeas cooked and mashed
½ cup spelt flour
1 teaspoon parsley
½ onion powder
1 teaspoon cilantro
½ teaspoon sea salt
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
¼ cup red onion finely chopped
¼ cup wild rice

METHOD
1 in a bowl combines chickpeas, flour, parsley, cilantro, salt, cayenne pepper, onion powder and red onion use your hand to bring mixture together
2 heat oil in a deep pot use enough oil to cover all your balls to prevent turning
3 take off small poursion of your chickpeas mixture and roll to form a ball, placed in hot oil fry until golden brown for about 5-10 minutes
4 remove from oil and placed on a paper towel to drain.
